Liberty's Promise

- Investing in America's Immigrant Youth

Liberty's Promise gets a lot of its funding from foundations. It is because of their support that we are able to do the great work that we do!

THANK YOU!

                                               Herb Block

The Herb Block Foundation was created in 2002, when famed political cartoonist, Herbert L. Block, passed away and left 50 million dollars in his will to create the foundation. In 2003, they began creating programs for the foundation, including a scholarship program for community college students in the Washington D.C. metro area, which started in the fall of 2005. In 2006-07, the Herb Block Foundation awarded Liberty's Promise a grant to build our civics program in Montgomery County.
