Best Practices identifies and evaluates the nationwide support services for immigrant youth. Using a methodology for evaluation that includes a review of think tank and academic reports, interviews with experts on immigration issues and those who have received services, and a survey of nonprofit publications, a researcher on the Liberty's Promise staff analyzes best practices in the field. Our conclusions highlight the interesting and original approaches to working with immigrant children and children of immigrants. We publish and disseminate our findings, which identify unmet needs and opportunities for additional support services. This handbook, which we envision as an annual publication, will disseminate knowledge about best practices among organizations around the country that work with young immigrants.
